Chelsea Summer Transfer Target Headed Elsewhere

|

Earlier this week, we reported on how speculation had appeared in the media, implying that Chelsea, if Eden Hazard were to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, had identified who the club might bring in to replace the talented Belgian international.

Our article Click Here, covered how the Everton striker, Richarlison, had been identified as the ideal replacement.

However, it seems that inference could be dead in the water already.

According to the Spanish news source, AS, if the 21-year-old Brazilian were to leave Goodison Park a more likely destination is Atletico Madrid.

Our referenced Spanish source is reporting that the Madrid based club have already held talks with both Everton and representatives of the exciting young forward who burst onto the scene with Watford, last season, before moving to Everton in the 2018 summer transfer window.

Although here at Vital Chelsea, we accepted any such deal was only at the speculative stage, Richarlison could have proved to be an interesting proposition, instead, if the information above is correct, it would appear that Atletico Madrid are compiling a strike-force that is, on paper, pretty potent, with Antoine Griezmann, Diego Costa, Alvaro Morata already on their books and Richarlison possibly also heading their way.
