Chelsea Superstar Continues To Tease The Media When It Comes To His Future

|

Although I have my suspicions that, come to the end of the season, Eden Hazard will be leaving Chelsea Football Club, for pastures new, the Belgian international continues to tease the media when pressed on his future.

The tabloid publication, the Daily Star carries some lovely remarks from the 28-year-old whereby the jewel in the Stamford Bridge crown discusses his future.

With remarkable honesty, Eden talking about life at Chelsea and his future:

“I have won everything in England, apart from the Community Shield.

“But that doesn’t mean that I’m leaving.

“I have always said that I wanted to explore something different after England. But there are also things that might make me stay.

“After the World Cup, I wanted to leave, but in the end, I stayed at Chelsea and I’m playing one of best seasons so far.

“So I don’t think that I need a different challenge. But that doesn’t mean that I will become better.”

Are we to take from the above that the lure of a move to the Bernabeu is fading?

Or has the fact that the manager Eden admitted he’d like to play for, Zinedine Zidane diminished after the Frenchman was axed as the Spanish giants head-coach?

However, when pushed on whether he’d like to play for Manchester United if Zidane were to play for our title rivals, Hazard interestingly replied:

“If he goes to Manchester tomorrow, for instance, I will not be going there.”

Which is pleasing news, it’d be a bitter pill to follow if Hazard, come the summer, were to follow the path trodden by Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic.

But what are your views on Hazard’s future?

Do you believe this is his last season at Stamford Bridge before he moves on, or will he, come this time next season, still be with us?

Please feel free to air your opinion in the comment facility beneath this article.
