Our ongoing dalliance, albeit successful at the moment, with the Europa League means that playing Sunday football is set to continue to be something we do on a regular basis.
This Sunday, after winning in Belarus in midweek, Chelsea welcome Everton, to Stamford Bridge, for a Premier League game.
As is the norm, on Vital Chelsea, ahead of a fixture, we use our poll facility to gauge how those that frequent our site view the fixture ending.
As is also the norm, we left you with three options to choose from:
• Chelsea to win
• The opposition (on this occasion Everton) to win
and
• A draw
With regards to Sunday’s fixture, the majority of the votes cast, 58%, are of the opinion that Chelsea will be the ones celebrating come the sound of the final whistle.
A further 18% are of the opinion that Everton could come to Stamford Bridge and frustrate Chelsea and return to the north-west with a draw, whilst the remaining 24% suspect that Chelsea’s first defeat, in any competition, could occur this Sunday afternoon.
Here’s hoping the majority are correct.
