With the subject of Chelsea bringing a new striker to the club being a very prevalent one, a large number of the Vital Chelsea membership have expressed a desire for the club to bring the Monaco teenager, Kylian Mbappe to West London.

Mbappe burst onto the scene this season scoring prolifically for Monaco in La Ligue whilst also performing at the highest level in the Champions League.

At just 18-years-of-age, Mbappe is a teenager with the world at his feet.

Naturally, such a talented youngster is going to attract the attention of the big clubs in Europe and that has been the case with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea, in the Premier League alone, being linked with a move for the player.

In order to keep hold of their asset, Monaco have put a huge price-tag on the teenagers head, said to be as much as £100 million.

However, it doesn`t seem to have deterred one club.

According to the French news source, L`Equipe, Mbappe is set to prolong his stay in French football.

Our referenced source is championing the suggestion that Mbappe will be moving to the French capital with Paris Saint-Germain moving close to securing a deal for the player.

Previously, Mbappe had suggested that he would remain with Monaco, I`m guessing that a move across the country, to Paris, is a viable alternative.

As for coming to Chelsea, was that really ever in the pipeline or indeed an option?
