Chelsea To Ponder Over Making An Important Decision In the Coming Weeks

|

With just the Europa League Final, in Baku, to be played before the 2018 / 2019 season comes to a conclusion, media talk continues to focus on who will be in charge of the club this season.

Whilst reaching two finals and finishing third in the Premier League would be more than enough for most Premier League club owners to gauge a season as successful, previous experience has shown that Chelsea operate in accordance with a different rule book.

With a Europa League Final trophy within his grasp, speculation is growing that not even winning the final will be enough, according to the news source, the Express, for Sarri to retain his job with this particular source tipping Chelsea to appoint the current Watford boss, Javi Gracia, as Sarri’s replacement.

However, the Telegraph, paints a slightly more conservative picture suggesting that Chelsea will not make any decisions relating to Sarris future until after the final.

But, with the pendulum swinging one way and then another, the red-top publication, the Daily Star, is championing the inference that Chelsea have already decided that Frank Lampard has been chosen to manage the club next season with Frank obviously impressing after leading Derby County to the Championship Play-Off Final, against Aston Villa, at Wembley.

As for my opinion, I’m sitting on the fence this time around but looking forward to watching this tangled knot unravelling.
