It’s Sunday, we’re still a million miles away from knowing when the Premier League will resume again but it doesn’t seem to have had any impact on transfer speculation flooding the media.

One-piece that, here at Vital Chelsea, we find particularly interesting comes courtesy of The Sun which suggests our scouting network has identified another prospect north of the border.

The youngster in question is none other than Harvey Gilmour, the younger brother of our current midfield sensation, Billy Gilmour.

Just 14-years-of-age, Harvey is currently on the books of Kilmarnock and it will be interesting to see if this is a deal that will happen.

Brothers at the same club is a rare event but not that unusual, at Stamford Bridge the older generation will remember the Wilkins brothers whilst more recently the Hazard brothers spring to mind.

But if Harvey is anywhere near as talented as his elder brother, Chelsea will do well to tempt him south as well.

Exciting times lie ahead, we suspect, for the Gilmour clan.
