Chelsea Trying To Rescue Something From What Is Really A Lost Cause

|

I’m convinced that Chelsea’s chances of keeping hold of their talented teenager, are minimal.

Bayern Munich have stated their intent to lure the player to Bavaria and what could be the key point is that Hudson-Odoi wants to leave Chelsea.

To me, it just seems a matter of when the deal is sealed and how much transfer money will be coming Chelsea’s way.

Perhaps my thinking has been influenced by an article which appears in the esteemed publication, the Times, this morning which infers that Chelsea, in succumbing to a possible deal with the German giants, are attempting to insert a buy-back clause in the deal.

However, our referenced source is reporting that the Bundesliga club are reluctant to agree to that.

Elsewhere, as in my view, a deal edges closer, the tabloid publication, the Mirror, carries some quotes from somebody who knows both clubs well, our former Dutch winger, Arjen Robben.

Robben, who is leaving the Allianz Arena come the end of the current season, has had a lot to say about what Hudson-Odoi should do and by clicking the link you can read his remarks, but one comment, reproduced below:

“Don’t just be happy when you achieve something little or small.”

Is Arjen urging Callum to make the move to achieve something far better with a club who are, at the moment, well ahead of Chelsea on the European pecking order?

Your thoughts on the above subject matter would be greatly appreciated in our comment facility beneath this article.
