It’s the acid test for Chelsea in the late kick-off this afternoon.
After a run of indifferent performances, the pressure is on Maurizio Sarri to reverse a trend that has seen us win just one of the last four Premier League games, to get back to winning ways.
However, it’s not just any old team we face at Stamford Bridge this afternoon, it’s Manchester City, the reigning Premier League title holders and the current leaders of the Premier League this season.
One of Chelsea’s faults this season has been allowing the opposition to have spells, normally in each half, whereby they’ve dominated possession, if we make that mistake this afternoon we could be in trouble.
But, then again, knowing Chelsea, we’re quite capable of pulling a wonderful performance out of the hat to become the first side to beat Manchester City, in the Premier League, this season.
With the kick-off looming large, we are now able to bring you the team-sheets to mull over.
