After the loss, in midweek, to Roma but also the manner in which it happened mean that Chelsea have to produce a much-improved performance this afternoon as they welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge for a Premier League fixture.

The fact that the opposition are managed by a former Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho and also have three ex-Chelsea players in their squad, in the shape of Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku, only serves to add a little extra spice to what is an already intriguing fixture.

With the kick-off fast approaching, we`re now able to bring you the team-sheets to mull over:

Chelsea – Courtois, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill, Zappacosta, Bakayoko, Fabregas, Alonso, Kante, Morata, Hazard.

Subs – Caballero, Rudiger, Drinkwater, Pedro, Willian, Batshuayi, Ampadu

Manchester United – De Gea, Bailly, Valencia, Jones, Smalling, Young, Herrera, Matic, Mkhitaryan, Lukaku, Rashford.

Subs – Romero, Martial, Lingard, Blind, Fellaini, Darmian, McTominay.
