Chelsea’s Belgian Internationals Future To Be Sorted Today

|

Its transfer deadline day and here at Vital Chelsea we’re poised for all the action.

One subject that we feel is likely to be decided today is the short-term future of one Michy Batshuayi.

The 25-year-old Belgian international striker has seen his season-long loan spell curtailed by Valencia and is back at Stamford Bridge.

However, Batshuayi doesn’t appear to feature in Maurizio Sarri’s plans and the club are looking to move him on.

This morning, there are two possible destinations being suggested, both in the Premier League.

The first, courtesy of the news source, Sky Sports, infers that the player could be headed across London, on another loan deal, to West Ham United.

The second, courtesy of the news source, the Guardian, is that Everton are also interested in the player, however, having already taken Kurt Zouma on loan they are unable to take a second Chelsea player, the rules forbid it, on loan.

Therefore, the possibility of a permanent deal is being mentioned, although whether this can be amicably agreed between all the parties concerned before the deadline kicks in, remains to be seen.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’re slightly confused as to why Batshuayi hasn’t been given a chance to shine, even more so when you consider the recent kerfuffle relating to bringing a striker to the club, something that resulted in Chelsea acquiring Gonzalo Higuain who seems perplexed by the speed and aggression of the Premier League.
