Chelsea’s Chase For World Class Full-Back Is To End In Disappointment

|

I’ve lost count the number of times Chelsea Football Club have been linked with a move for Alex Sandro.

It would appear that every time the opening of a transfer window is approaching a move for the 27-year-old Brazilian is mentioned.

However, it seems that run of speculation could be set to come to an end.

According to the tabloid publication, the Sun, Sandro has signed a new contract at his current club, Juventus, a contract that ties him to the Turin based club until 2023.

The left-back would have been a decent acquisition, in my opinion, but the fee for the Brazilian would have been immense when you take into consideration he is in the prime of his career.

If Chelsea, under Maurizio Sarri, are looking to acquire another left-back then it would appear that now is the time to start looking elsewhere.

Do any of the Vital Chelsea fraternity have any preferences?
