As we head into the Easter break, transfer speculation is scarce this Good Friday.

However, one piece of speculation we`ve stumbled upon relates to our Spanish striker, Alvaro Morata.

This summer, the media are convinced that one of the most prolific strikers in Europe, Robert Lewandowski, is set to leave Bayern Munich to join Real Madrid.

It is a piece of transfer tittle-tattle that has been commented on by the Spanish news source, AS, which is carrying the inference that the 29-year-old Polish striker will force through a move to the Bernabeu.

However, if that is to be the scenario then our referenced source carries another interesting inference.

It`s suggesting that if the Bavarian giants do lose their star striker then lurking on their list of possible replacements is our 25-year-old Spanish striker, Alvaro Morata.

Could it be a case of Alvaro Morata being one of those players who only stay a season at Chelsea Football Club before moving on, or will Chelsea resist all attempts to lure their striker away from Stamford Bridge?

Your thoughts on the subject matter would be greatly appreciated in the comments section beneath this article.

  • This is interesting because Bayern have never sold a player to us in the Roman era, Ballack joining us on a free, knocking them out of the CL in 05 and 012,are various things they hold against us . We are clearly not selling Morata, he will be given time .
