Conte Being Linked With Real Madrid Could Benefit Chelsea

|

Such has been the smooth transition between the end of the managerial reign of Antonio Conte and the integration of Maurizio Sarri as the new boss of Chelsea, that there has been no mourning of the departure of the man who, in successive seasons, led Chelsea to the Premier League title and the FA Cup.

Now, whether Sarri can put any silverware in the trophy cabinet this season, remains to be seen. Here at Vital Chelsea, we’re perfectly aware that the former Napoli boss has yet to win a trophy during his managerial career.

But, although, with Conte, it could be a case of out of sight out of mind, there’s no denying that what he achieved with Chelsea was remarkable.

The two trophies he won will make him a target for the big clubs when the right role becomes vacant.

Today, the respected news source, the Telegraph is reporting that Chelsea are paying close attention to what will be Conte’s next move.

Our source is reporting that Antonio is being linked to a trio of top-clubs, namely Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Chelsea’s reason for showing such a keenness in what the former boss’ next move may be is connected to the compensation bill which has yet to be settled, following his axing.

Now, here at Vital Chelsea, we have no idea of the sums being involved but the possibility of Conte taking over at the Bernabeu does.

If Conte were to become the next boss at the Bernabeu would it influence Eden Hazard’s prospects of leaving Chelsea for the Spanish giants?

Would Hazard think twice before leaving the comfort of playing under Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea, with the club playing a style of football the Belgian is thriving in?

Sat here in the editorial chair, I’d certainly appreciate your thoughts on the above.
