I`m probably not alone in hoping that Antonio Conte remains as the Chelsea manager for the foreseeable future, namely this season, next season and beyond.

But, unfortunately, things are never quite that simple when it comes to managers tenures at Stamford Bridge.

On an almost daily basis we come across articles that, if you believed every word, signal the Italian who guided us to the Premier League title in his first season with us, will not be in charge of the team next season.

That assumption is clearly something that has been picked up on over on mainland Europe.

One news source, The Sun, is suggesting that Paris Saint-Germain could be Conte`s next stop.

Picking up a news thread started by the French source, Le Parisien, our referenced source explains that the current manager at the French club, Unai Emery, is only on a contract until the end of the season.

It seems that if Emery doesn`t succeed in taking the big-spending club to at least the semi-finals of the Champions League, he`ll be axed.

If that proves to be the case then Antonio Conte is the favoured replacement with it also being insinuated that Conte`s team have been contacted by PSG with regards to sounding our boss out about a move!
