Conte`s Hazard Dilemma

There are hopes that Eden Hazard will be fit enough to be considered for selection this weekend when Chelsea entertain Everton, at Stamford Bridge, this Sunday lunch-time.

Ahead of the very entertaining and successful trip to Wembley, to beat Spurs in our second Premier League fixture of the season, Hazard played a part in a specially arranged behind-closed-doors fixture against Queens Park Rangers.

Hazard, as a precautionary measure, wasn`t part of the eighteen selected for the fixture, with Antonio Conte not wanting to risk his jewel in the crown.

However, the Everton fixture might be a different kettle of fish.

But, after the Everton fixture, we`re faced with the first of the international breaks this season and it seems that Hazard is a wanted man.

Reports in the media suggest that the Belgium manager, the former Everton boss Roberto Martinez, is planning to speak to Eden, this Friday, to confirm whether or not he`s recovered sufficiently from the ankle fracture he suffered during an international training session to play a part for his country.

Which leaves Antonio Conte with a dilemma, if he does play Hazard against Everton he`d find it hard to stop the player reporting for international duty, but if he doesn`t it could give Hazard an extra two weeks to get back to full match fitness whilst remaining at Cobham.

A difficult choice!
