The back-page news relating the reputed desire that Cristiano Ronaldo has about leaving Spain, a desire fuelled by the tax evasion allegations, have seen the Portuguese superstar linked with a move to a number of clubs.

It`s probably fair to say that the front-runners for his possible signature would be Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the good folk of the Sunday Express are championing the suggestion that Chelsea could be the surprise contenders to bring the 32-year-old back to the Premier League.

Our reference source suggests that Roman Abramovich is ready to sanction a world-record fee to bring the superstar to West London.

As for the size of the fee, whilst many are implying it could be gigantic, the good folk of the Telegraph are spreading the word that Ronaldo`s advisors believe a fee of ?150 million (£131 million) would be enough to secure the services of what would be the marque signing of not only this summer but any summer.

But what are the views of the Chelsea membership?

Can you see it happening?
