Don`t say I didn`t warn you!

Many moons ago, well probably not that long, I had this feeling that Chelsea were lining up Fabio Capello to be their next manager.

I have no idea what it was based on but a sixth sense told me he was the one.

Now it appears that a few more cards have been laid on the table with the Italian media predicting it is almost a done deal whilst the English media re reporting that the sixty-six year old is keen to manage a Premier League club and has, allegedly, spoken to Roman Abramovich`s advisors.

The talk doing the rounds is that Capello is looking at a three year deal, worth £6 million a season, and has issued a few comments expressing his next career move, comments that read,

“I have refused good offers from clubs in China and other parts of the world. I want one more challenge with a big team to fight for trophies”

Considering that Capello has a London base and that he is familiar with English football, he does tick a few boxes and would appear to be a suitable candidate to usher in a new Chelsea revolution but, in your view, is he the right man?
