Expensive Chelsea Recruit Doesn’t Want To Return To Stamford Bridge

|

After opting to go out on an eighteen-month loan spell, after being found wanting at Chelsea, it appears that Alvaro Morata has no intention of returning to the club.

The Spaniard, who joined his boyhood club, Atletico Madrid, seems more than happy with his lot in La Liga and the news source, Sky Sports, carries some interesting quotes from Morata, which read:

“What is clear is what I want, I want to be here.

“I’m going to do all I can to keep playing here, I did all I could to come and I will do all I can to stay. I’m not thinking about going back anywhere, only being here. I’m happy here and I want to be here for the years I have left at the top level.”

Now whether Atletico Madrid share the same enthusiasm is not clear.

Since making the switch to play for Diego Simeone’s side, Morata’s scoring record isn’t anything to write home about with the Spaniard netting just 6 goals in 17 games.

But one thing is for certain if that is his attitude, I don’t want him back at Chelsea Football Club, do you?
