FA Cup Final – 3 Fears That Could Cost Chelsea The Cup

|

Following on from our article earlier today, Click Here, an article that highlighted three key hopes that could see Chelsea parading the FA Cup around Wembley Stadium, minutes after the final whistle, we’re now going to visit the other end of the emotional scale by revealing our three fears that could see the FA Cup slip from our grasp.

Firstly, football is littered with instances whereby players have scored against former clubs, my fear is that something similar could happen at Wembley. In their ranks are not one, not two but three players who have worn the blue shirt of Chelsea – Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata. Could one of that trio be the player to strike the mortal blow and place that dagger in our heart?

Secondly, here at Vital Chelsea, we’re glad to hear that after his health scare Sir Alex Ferguson is on the mend but we’re worried that the Manchester United squad might be spurred on to give the performance needed to ‘win it for Sir Alex’ blowing Chelsea away in the process. How about we make sure we negate those fears by ensuring we win it for Ray Wilkins!

Thirdly, our form since the turn of the year has been, to put it kindly, indifferent. The performances given against Bournemouth, Watford and Newcastle were way below what was expected. If something similar is produced at Wembley the rest of the weekend could be a painful experience on the back of a heavy FA Cup Final defeat. Let’s hope the boys are well and truly up for this one.

I’ve shared my fears but do you have your own fears?
