Fabregas’ Future Clarified As The Speculation Gathers Momentum

A lot has been written, in recent days, with regards to the future of Cesc Fabregas.

Already, on this site, we’ve covered how the 31-year-old Spaniard had dismissed the notion that he would be waving goodbye to Stamford Bridge, in the January transfer window, with Cesc heavily hinting that he would see out the remainder of his contract and leave, as a free agent, in the summer.

Today, those plans appear to have been clarified more with the news source, football italia, reporting that the above is true but also that, come January, Fabregas is able to talk to other clubs and sign a pre-contract with another club as long as that club is an overseas one.

Our referenced source also re-iterates that AC Milan appear to be the favourites to sign Cesc.

Whilst the above would see Chelsea not get a fee for the midfielder, it is a move, considering all he’s done for Chelsea, that we believe, should be applauded.

Meanwhile, let’s hope that Fabregas is able to weave a little bit of magic, in a blue shirt, for the remainder of this season.
