Last week, we covered speculation relating to newspaper speculation suggesting that the Everton midfielder, Ross Barkley, was on Chelsea`s wish-list.

With the 23-year-old not interested in signing a new contract at Goodison Park, the England international is expected to leave with a transfer fee of £25 million being mentioned.

Naturally, at such a price there are a raft of clubs who, according to Sky Sports, are interested in signing the player, with our source suggesting that the six are comprised of:

? Tottenham Hotspur
? Manchester City
? Chelsea
? Arsenal
? Manchester United

and

? West Ham United.

With such a raft of clubs to choose from, Barkley could somewhat force the issue as to who he signs for by requesting a salary that could narrow the field down.

As t a possible destination, my feeling is that Everton after signing Wayne Rooney this summer, might well be doing some more business with Manchester United.

But I might be wrong!
