Here in the UK and I imagine in most countries around the world, we play this little game called the National Lottery.

You see what you do is select six numbers from the forty-nine available, hand over £2 and wait for either the midweek draw you`ve paid for or the weekend one.

As the numbered balls tumble out of the machine, one-by-one, you usually see your dream of winning the jackpot disappears, in my case it usually happens after the first ball.

Last Saturday the jackpot was a cool £5.5 million, but unfortunately it wasn`t to be won by me. But as it turns out the jackpot was won by one person who correctly selected the six numbers to win the damn lot.

But as it turns out the jackpot was won by somebody associated with Chelsea Football Club.

It turns out that the jackpot was won by Terry Bradbury, who is now seventy-five years of age and graced the Chelsea first team back in the 1950`s when Jimmy Greaves and Terry Venables were gracing the side.

As a professional footballer, Bradbury wouldn`t have made anything like the players of today do, instead he would have made £25 a week.

As well as playing for Chelsea, Bradbury also played for Southend United, Leyton orient and Wrexham and here at Vital Chelsea we sincerely hope that he and his wife, Eleanor thoroughly enjoy planning, and subsequently spending, what to do with the £5,517,016 they won.

Congratulations from all at Vital Chelsea.
