With Michael Emenalo having left his position at Stamford Bridge, to take up a position with Monaco, we wait to see who will fill the void.

One suggestion being bandied about is that another Russian could be coming to SW6.

Our associates at the Daily Telegraph, are implying that Roman Abramovich may turn to his good friend, Leonid Slutsky.

Slutsky was falsely linked with a position at Stamford Bridge back in the 2016 / 2017 season when he was spotted sat alongside Roman in his West Stand suite.

However, the Russian who had a good management pedigree opted to become the manager of Hull City.

Unfortunately for Slutsky, his spell as the boss of the Humberside club was far from successful and earlier this week the decision was taken, by the Championship side, to wield the axe.

Our reference source is of the opinion that Slutsky will speak with Roman with regards to remaining in English football, does a job in SW6 beckon?
