French Midfielder Set To Exit Chelsea on Transfer Deadline Day Claim

|

The Chelsea future of Tiemoue Bakayoko has come under the transfer speculation spotlight in the last forty-eight hours.

The French midfielder, signed last summer from Monaco, could be set to head out of the Stamford Bridge exit before the window slams shut late this afternoon.

Bakayoko, 23-years-of-age, had a disappointing first season with Chelsea, despite a bright start in the opening fixture, at Wembley, against Tottenham Hotspur.

With Chelsea having brought in Jorginho, on a permanent basis, whilst also adding Kovacic on a temporary basis, opportunities for Bakayoko to get regular game time could be very limited.

On the basis of the above assumption, here at Vital Chelsea, we’d deem Bakayoko to be surplus to requirements.

Therefore, we’re not too surprised that, according to the popular tabloid publication, the Sun, there is interest in the player from mainland Europe.

Our source is inferring that AC Milan are keen to take the player, on loan, with Chelsea having given Bakayoko the opportunity to discuss the move.

The players’ poor form last season, I reckon, won’t have many of the Vital Chelsea fraternity mourning his departure.

Perhaps, a season away, in a different league, could see the player rediscover his form.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’ll keep a watchful eye on the situation and report back as deemed appropriate.
