Good Luck Chelsea Ladies in the Women’s FA Cup Final This Afternoon

|

This afternoon, Chelsea Ladies will, around about 17:15, walk out of the Wembley tunnel to participate in the Women’s FA Cup Final.

Their opposition this afternoon will be their London rivals, Arsenal.

Here at Vital Chelsea, just two weeks before Chelsea take on Manchester United in the 2018 FA Cup Final, we’re hoping our ladies team can set the ball rolling on a potential cup double.

However, the final will be a close encounter with Arsenal proving to be stiff competition having won this trophy no less than 14 times, with the Chelsea Ladies boss, Emma Hayes, remarking about the clash this afternoon,

“I expect an epic final. It’s a derby. It’s Arsenal and Chelsea, a big game.”

The game kicks-off at 17:30 and will be played out in front of a record crowd for the final, with in excess of 40,000 tickets having been sold.

The increasing focus on women’s football will also see the game broadcast live on BBC One, therefore, if you can’t get to Wembley then tune in and watch the girls set out to create their own piece of history.

Here at Vital Chelsea we’ll provide a match report covering the game and, hopefully, a Chelsea victory.

Up the Chels!
