At Vital Chelsea, we`re very happy with the win today. Michy Batshuayi`s performance does beg the question, do we need a replacement for Michy Batshuayi? Is he really that bad? On today`s showing, the Belgian looked a more than adequate stand-in for Morata given the chance.

Would Andy Carroll, Peter Crouch or Christian Benteke be any better? We think not, anyway, that`s whole discussion on it`s own. Our task here is to weed out all the nonsense that is being predicted in connection with any transfers Chelsea are likely to make during the current transfer window.

First off tonight we`re taking a look at the long running saga that is Eden Hazard to Real Madrid. The Daily Star run an article that comes via Spanish tittle-tattle experts Don Balon, who claim Real Madrid are suggesting a swap deal involving Hazard and their injury prone attacker Gareth Bale.

Los Blancos are desperate to get hold of the tricky Belgian and would like to off load Bale. However they don`t believe they`ll recoup the £85m they paid Tottenham for him. They see the swap deal as a way of offsetting Bale`s value against Hazards, like when you trade in an old car for a new one. Sneaky old Florentino Perez, we think Marina`s a bit sharper than that though.

Chelsea must hold on to Hazard, not only is he a great player, but he`s a nice man as he proved at The Amex this afternoon,

Whilst on the subject of strikers, yesterday`s rumours of Roma`s Edin Dzeko making the switch to West London, Italian media outlet Gianluca Di claim it`s something the Bosnian is very much up for.

Ahead of Roma`s game at the weekend, the players were catching a train. Francesco Totti had a word with Dzeko,

Whilst that story continues to run, the rumours over Michy Batshuayi`s future destination also continue. Claims he could be a makeweight in the deal involving Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri, are on going. The same media outlet are today claiming Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing the Batsman. Seville have also been tracking the Belgian. If Antonio Conte doesn`t rate Batshuayi, there are certainly those that do. As we said at the top, we`d like to see Batshuayi stay.

With things beginning to look rosy in the Chelsea garden once more, not for long, obviously, here at Vital Chelsea we hope Antonio Conte is starting to trust some of his more junior squad members a bit more.

Batshuayi may not have scored but he held the ball up better than Morata would and combined well with Hazard and Willian. Charly Musonda had a 10 minute cameo and produced one of the passes of the day in assisting Victor Moses` goal.

Well that`s about it on what has been a good day in Chelsea land, all that`s left is the final little item. Because we know you love him really, here`s a word from ‘everyone`s favourite player`. Can we please not hate him so much,

Thanks Willian, we love ya! Back at 10pm tomorrow.
