Has It Been A Good Season Or Not For Chelsea You Decide

|

Up at Old Trafford, on Sunday afternoon, Chelsea ensured their hopes of a top-four finish and a subsequent place in the Champions League were kept very much alive with an entertaining 1-1 draw.

Chelsea’s fate, regarding a place in the Champions League next season remains firmly in their own hands, with two games left two wins will secure that place, although Chelsea could also secure a place in the Champions League, next season if they win the Europa League.

First, though they have to see off the Bundesliga side, Eintracht Frankfurt, in the two-legged semi-final.

On paper, the 2018 / 2019 season still has the potential to be a pretty decent one, something that Maurizio Sarri, following the draw at Old Trafford, re-iterated.

Speaking to the media after the game and as reported by the BBC, Sarri remarked about a top-four finish and the season in general:

“We need two wins. With this we are sure.

“We are fighting for the top four and in the semi-final of the Europa League. We have done a good season. Now we need to take two very important targets.”

Is Sarri right?

Has it been a good season and one that may remain in our thoughts for years to come?
