Against Brighton and Hove Albion, Eden Hazard again showed that he is our jewel-in-the-crown.

The Belgian looked up for it from the first whistle and his two goals went a long way to Chelsea grabbing their first Premier League win of 2018.

But, aside from his contribution yesterday, the Belgian international also managed to set a couple of personal milestones.

? Since joining Chelsea, from Lille, Eden has been involved in 102 Premier League goals, scoring 65 and providing assists for another 37. In reaching that figure, Eden moves to third in the Chelsea honours list when it comes to being involved in Premier League goals, yesterday he surpassed the legend that is Gianfranco Zola (101) and is now looking towards he duo ahead of him, Didier Drogba (159) and Frank Lampard (237).

? The brace of goals also saw Eden move past a century of goals, Eden now has 101 goals in league football, 65 with Chelsea and 36 for Lille.

After the game, it was also great to see Eden peel off his shirt, and jog across the pitch to hand it to a young supporter who had held up a piece of card asking the Belgian for it, a lovely touch Eden.
