The future of Eden Hazard is, once again, covered by the media this morning (Tuesday).

Just a matter of hours after Antonio Conte pleaded for the Chelsea board to sort out the contract of our jewel-in-the-crown, as well as that of Thibaut Courtois, before the duo depart for World Cup duty, with Belgium, next summer, the inference is given that all is not well when it comes to Chelsea tying Hazard down to a new contract.

The journalists at the esteemed publication, The Times, are reporting that Hazard is stalling on a new deal at Stamford Bridge. According to our referenced source, Hazard won`t put pen-to-paper on a deal that will see him earn £300,000 a week with the Belgian hoping that an offer from Real Madrid might be forthcoming.

Elsewhere, another media source, the Express, is championing the suggestion that Real Madrid view 26-year-old Hazard as the perfect signing to reinvigorate the fading form of a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Two worrying pieces of speculation relating to our jewel-in-the-crown but, if Real Madrid do come seeking to purchase Hazard, what sort of fee would he command?
