Yesterday at the stadium MK, did I spot a smile or two on the face of Eden Hazard?

Making his first full appearance since being the subject of a couple of injuries, Hazard looked to be getting back to the standard we know he can perform at.

His jinking runs and quick feet had the MK Dons defence in all kinds of trouble and Hazard was unlucky not to score when his movement allied with his pace, took him clear of the MK Dons defence.

Sadly, having not scored all season, his confidence in front of goal wasn`t all it should have been and his shot was to near the keeper, David Martin, to get past him.

However, Hazard was to get on the score-sheet for the first time this season when he was fouled in the area.

With the referee pointing to the spot Hazard was offered the ball and subsequently placed it on the spot.

Having scored 14 out of 16 penalties in his career so far, Hazard stuck to his tried and trusted method whereby he doesn`t look at the ball but watches for the keeper to make a move before placing it to the opposite side of him.

The plan worked and the relief on Eden`s face was a pleasure to see.

Saluting the travelling Chelsea supporters, he offered a smile before kissing the badge, but was he kissing the badge as an indication he`s prepared to honour that new contract he sided not that long ago or kissing it goodbye?
