There’s a week to go before the new Premier League starts and just a matter of just over four days before the summer transfer window slams shut.

On the evidence of what we witnessed against Manchester City, in the Community Shield, our chances of winning the Premier League are zilch.

Although both sides were missing some star names, the gap between the two sides looked wider than ever.

Furthermore, there is the inherent danger that early this week, we could get the news we’ve feared all summer, namely, Eden Hazard is set to leave the club, to pursue his dream of playing for Real Madrid.

Already, in the last forty-eight hours, we’ve covered, Click Here, how Chelsea are looking to tempt Hazard into staying by offering the Belgian a cool £300,000 a week.

But, is it about just the money?

Not too long ago, when speculation of a move to Real Madrid first broke, Hazard, gave an insight into what was needed to keep him at Stamford Bridge, remarking, and as covered by the news source, inews

“I’m waiting for new players next season. You know. We’ll see. I want good players because I want to win next season the Premier League. A lot of things, then we will see.”

Well, so far, Chelsea have signed just Jorginho, a far cry from the criteria above, to me, it seems as if we’re fighting a losing battle.

Is that how you perceive the situation?

  • U ar right cos if it’s me i would hv gone a long time.chelsea board ar so useless .as of now u if u ar counting top 4 in epl chelsea is definitely not among .n d board don’t care.for me.marina is useless there.this time we might not even finish 5th.tnx to there weak ambition.n i blame d owner of chelsea cos it seems he doesn’t care unlike b4

  • Commentwe keep talking about players…. which top player would want to come of the so called big players want to leave… it means they don’t believe… let quit this blame game the current so called big players we have are not that big, I imagine Lampard, Terry or DD demanding to leave if we don’t buy…let stop blaming the club, we invested all in these guys but they have failed us time and time again.

  • the is that Chelsea board r so useless that they don’t wish the club well. They r just after their pocket.

  • In my own view i think chelsea should go for prolific player like milinkovic savic to fill up the midfield gap and zaha, lewandoski cos i tink chelsea has no striker 4 nw,morata is one of d most poorest and flopest footballer i have ever seen and bakayoko aswell infact they are not worthy to be in chelsea squad.chelsea please sign more good players.

  • Motivation goes down if you turn around and see people with less ambition, thats what hazard is passing through now… I think is better Abramovic sells the club to the Arab billonaires who are ever ready to spend…. We dont want our club to turn into a baggage

  • I think Hazard’s view are very simple, get good new guys In the club and I will stay. Isn’t that simple!..so what is the Chelsea board doing so far, is it an indication that they are being weak in their service delivery? They should please help the club by splashing the cash in a feat that they will never regret having the real good guys in their ranks

  • In fairness to Hazard I don’t believe it’s about the money, it’s not the first time he has publicly put it to the Chelsea board to make some marquee signings and again it hasn’t happened. We simply can’t turn this squad around in the time left before the transfer window shuts. After yesterday’s performance, lack of activity in the market & uncertainty about the club, he deserves better.

  • Please please, Chelsea board must have a look at a loosing of community shield at Man. city.
And therefore, they must role out especulation of interest of other club to sign key plays Hazard, Willian, Kante Countoise not to be for sale.
You know the board must emphusis on how to
improve the foward Giroud is weak get astriker who a young and energetic to assist Morota you must talk to morota to improve.
Players should work hard for atrouphy as potential player like Eden hazard said.

  • I think all chelsea board are all useless, they don’t want to spend money anymore. It is only God that knw were we go finish this season

  • Personally I’m not blaming Hazard or any of the players who want to leave. Rio Ferdinand yesterday before the Man City game vs Chelsea interviewed Vincent Kompany trying to know why he cut his holiday short to report for training with the rest of the team. The source who reported the interview said Kompany answered by saying he didn’t want to loose his place in the starting eleven by arriving late. That shows how a good player in a club is afraid of the competition for places and decided to shorten his holiday. Tell me now who in the current CFC starting eleven can make William, Courtois, and Hazard think or do what Kompany just did if we have to believe his interview for BT sport with Rio Ferdinand? I guess the answer for most of us here at Vital Chelsea will be no one. And that just says it all when our beloved club has fallen so low. Why would anyone here blame the aforementioned players if they want to leave?

  • There are some players in this chelsea team that needs to be replaced. Hazard said its the type of player that the club sign that will determine maybe he will stay or live. Up to this moment, chelsea has only signed jorginho. The signing of jorginho was only influenced by the presence of sarri, if not for sarri i’m sure chelsea wouldn’t have made any signing by now. Teams that finished above chelsea last season are strenghtening their squad but chelsea board are busy jumping from one transfer target to another. To hell with the chelsea ‘s board.

  • I was definitely not impressed with Jorginho in the Community Shield match yesterday, of course, one has to give him the benefit of the doubt to get used to English Football, but he was completely lost. Frankly, I think Pedro, Fabregas, Morata, Drinkwater, Giroud, Zappacosta have outlived their usefulness and should be let go. Even David Luiz was too lackadaisical. I believe Bats, Ruben-Loftus Cheek, Zouma should be given the chance as starters, especially Bats. Yesterday’s Community Shield match was an embarrassment. Top four? Are you kidding me? The way Chelsea played yesterday, there was no motivation, coordination, power, strength, Zero, Zilch!!. Can’t blame Hazard, he wants quality players. His mind is probably made up after yesterday’s horrific performance!!

  • I don’t blame him wanting better players round him after all Messi always has, drinkwater morata bakayoko cost what 140m could have bought two seriously descent acquisitions with that

  • Eden hazard is a stupid footballer, for him to go to realmadrid FC and become the most important player in that great club and here he is waiting his time in so called Chelsea FC for nothing.

  • You know my feelings toward the board, i do not think any Chelsea supporter can defend them after this window, clueless, useless and lazy . Marina takes a whole week to go to Milan, returns empty handed, the whole Conte/Sarri saga, now Courtois has gone awol .

Looking at the squad, it seems Roman has lost interest, the rot starts at the top . I am grateful for all he has done for us, but its time to sell. We are starting to look like Newcastle, owner with no interest, squad filled with dead wood, thank you Roman, but now let us go
