This Saturday, after twenty-two years at Chelsea Football Club, John Terry becomes a free-agent.

His time at Stamford Bridge will be over but, for us supporters, he`ll always be our former captain our former leader and very much a Chelsea legend.

Ever since it was revealed John would not be given another contract and that the club were willing to let him go, there has been speculation as to where he might end up next, that`s if he didn`t hang-up his boots and retire.

Well, according to one popular tabloid source, all will be revealed this weekend.

Our associates at the Daily Mirror, are confidently predicting that John will put pen-to-paper on a deal with the Championship side, Aston Villa.

It appears that those rounds of golf John played with the Aston Villa manager, Steve Bruce, were very influential in John agreeing to do his utmost in trying to get Aston Villa back the Premier League status they crave.

It has been suggested that John has dropped into the Championship as he couldn`t face playing against his beloved Chelsea for another club.

If that is the case then you can bet your last dollar that when the draws for the domestic cup competitions come around, we`ll get paired with Aston Villa in at least one of them!
