Tonight, all eyes will be on the television.

With Chelsea having re-opened the gap at the top of the Premier League, two games being played tonight will see some frantic channel hopping.

Firstly, we`ll all be keeping an eye on events going on at Stamford Bridge where the 2017 FA Youth Cup Final second leg will be taking place.

The final, the third consecutive between Chelsea U18`s and Manchester City U18`s, is delicately poised at 1-1.

The game can be seen live on both Chelsea TV and also on ITV4.

Here at Vital Chelsea we wish Jody Morris and his U18 side all their best in their quest to, once again, win the FA Youth Cup.

Secondly, we`ll all be keeping an eye on events down at Selhurst Park where all Chelsea supporters will be hoping that Sam Allardyce and his Crystal Palace side can keep their good run of form going and get something in the game against Tottenham Hotspur.

The game is being shown live on Sky Sports 1 and could go a long way in deciding the outcome of the Premier League title.

It`s bound to be a night where er`indoors casts a few puzzled looks in my direction before asking if it is my intention to break the TV remote tonight with the constant button pushing!

Let`s hope fortune is smiling on us tonight.

  • Now that Palace are safe, i wonder if they will put in the sort of effort they put against us.

  • I hard Allardyce is going to field a b team, he defended it by saying us and United do it , which is untrue .

  • Personally I don’t like anyone to do us any favours like what we did Leicester City as most of these clubs & their managers hate us. Don’t know their remote & immediate reasons, but can recall for example the utterances of Roberto Martinez regarding our interest in John Stones before he was booted out by same Everton board whose sentiments he thinks was echoing. Same for every other manager with the exception of Conte, it’s clear as broad daylight how these teams play against us as if it’s a cup final or their whole life depended on it. Grateful Costa is back to form while Hazard, Willian, Cahill & most of our players on form including Ake. Let’s just go all out & win our games home & away then see what happens, that’s the way I like to earn respect from our rivals not the other way round or even indirectly using match officials as in the case of a certain northern club with its retired manager. KTBFFH! !!

  • Turns out he only dropped Cabaye , still he is not one of our fans, he was one of Fergies “boys” . Every team he managed would be having a good run and roll over for United . Regardless we just have to keep winning our games and not worry about anyone else . We can do this . Arsenal fans are beside themselves as Anthony Taylor has been placed in charge of the FA Cup final, Wegner has pushed him, cussed him out and called him corrupt , instead of screaming “the game is rigged “, maybe they should think Wegner should have shut his mouth .

  • This post from @Cavelier5 & selected replies about the form of Diego Costa really cracked me up :. ………..I’m with you mate. Absolutely love the nasty ********.

To think Liverpool wanted to pair him up with Luis Suarez in 2013. That’s end of days dark arts stuff right there. God it would have been glorious.

  • ………That would have been awesome and scary – in about equal measure – no centre-half in the world would have wanted to face that pair……… would have been a masterclass in the dark arts for the ages..

  • Nothing will give me more joy than see Spur’s wining streak amount to nothing at the end of the season. Like echoed here by many. let’s win our next four matches and silence our haters.
