It’s Only A Matter Of Time For Chelsea Striker’s Departure To Be Confirmed

|

The disappointing last twelve months Alvaro Morata has experienced at Chelsea Football Club, looks destined to come to an end this month.

Although many feel that a sale may be the best option, it appears that a loan deal is the option that will be pursued.

Today, lurking in the news source Goal, is the inference that another Spanish club, other than Sevilla, has expressed a desire to recruit the 26-year-old striker, albeit on loan, with that club being Atletico Madrid.

But, if you’re looking for confirmation that the striker is definitely heading for the Stamford Bridge exit, then look no further than an interview with the Spanish football expert, Guillem Balague, who in an interview available on the BBC, is adamant that Morata’s agent has engineered deals with two different Spanish clubs for his client.

But, as, it appears, it has always been the case, Chelsea won’t let Morata leave until they’ve recruited a replacement.

Speculation has been rife as to who that might be but are we, ten days into the transfer window, any the wiser as to who it might be?

Personally, I’m hoping if Mauro Icardi isn’t available then Callum Wilson is the man.
