Yesterday, I reported on how there had been a development on the Jackson Martinez saga.

I mentioned how Atletico Madrid`s plans to persuade Chelsea to allow Diego Costa to return to Madrid and in return Madrid would send us Jackson Martinez, had received short shrift during the transfer window.

I further explained that another twist in the saga had seen the twenty-nine year old Jackson Martinez leave Atletico before the transfer window slammed shut and that he had joined the exodus to the Chinese Super League, with Guangzhou Evergrande paying Atletico a fee of £31 million for his services.

Today, another potential development in the saga, as reported by the Daily Mail, has resurrected the Diego Costa to Atletico Madrid suggestion with it being implied that having £31 million in the bank will see Atletico approach Chelsea, this summer, with a view to buying back the striker we signed from them in the summer of 2014.

What`s your verdict folks, can you see this deal happening in the summer, or will Chelsea show their determination to keep hold of the fiery striker and dismiss Atletico`s approach completely?

Your thoughts on the subject matter would be most appreciated.
