Back in the summer, if the press speculation was correct, Chelsea showed serious interest in bringing the Juventus defender, Alex Sandro, to Stamford Bridge.

The press speculation suggested that Chelsea had a series of bids rejected by the Turin club, bids which peaked at £68.1 million.

However, whilst Juventus refused to do business in the summer, that may not be the case now.

According to the Italian media source, Tuttosport, Sandro could be allowed to leave Juventus once the January transfer window opens.

The Brazilian didn`t make the Juventus starting eleven for their 1-0 win against Napoli, in a Serie A, on Friday.

It appears that Sandro`s form this season hasn`t reached the levels expected by Juventus and a parting of the ways might be forthcoming.

But it remains to be seen whether Chelsea`s summer interest will be re-ignited come January and if so, how much Juventus would want for the player.

It may be something we, here at Vital Chelsea, will need to keep an eye on.
