|

Suddenly things are starting to look interesting.

After the media declaration yesterday, Click Here, proclaiming that Maurizio Sarri will be leaving Chelsea to join Juventus, once Chelsea appoint his successor, the media is alive with the inference that man will be the legend that is Frank Lampard.

Whilst some may have reservations about the relatively inexperienced Lampard taking over, others, including myself, believe Lampard’s arrival would be like a breath of fresh air and provide the impetus Chelsea, in their current predicament need.

This morning, the talk relating to Lampard being given the chance to manage the club he adores continues, but it is taking interesting developments.

The BBC reports that Chelsea would have to pay Lampard’s current club, Derby County, £4 million in compensation to bring Lampard and his assistant Jody Morris back to Stamford Bridge.

Whilst the Sun, suggests that Lampard if offered the job, wants Didier Drogba to be part of the new team in charge of the club.

Suddenly things are getting very interesting with Lampard looking to recruit his own dream team, however, our referenced source does go on to infer that there would be no offer of a role for Lampard’s close friend, John Terry, in the set-up.

Can you see a dream team of Lampard, Morris and Drogba leading us forward over the coming years?
