It looks like there could be another exit soon from the diminishing ranks of Chelsea`s squad. It`s being mooted in various media outlets that another one of the ‘kids` could be on his way out on loan.

Tucked away in the article run in The Metro yesterday, about Danny Drinkwater, was a mention of the possible departure of Lewis Baker.

The 22 year old, is being linked with a move away from the club on loan. Whilst the Metro don`t mention a club, The Northern Echo do. The article says Baker is on his way to Middlesbrough and unusually the length of the loan is set to be two years.

For the record, Baker has played just 3 minutes in the first team. Those glorious minutes came in an FA Cup 3rd round tie away to Derby County in 2014. With two years left on his current contract with Chelsea, expect the midfielder to sign a new deal before he goes. Oh dear.
