Following their exertions in the Europa League, in midweek, Chelsea resume their Premier League campaign with a difficult trip to the north-west to take on Burnley.

However, following the awful events of last night, at the King Power Stadium, after the draw between Leicester City and West Ham, the game kind of pales into insignificance.

Nevertheless, Maurizio Sarri will be keen to ensure his side keep their unbeaten Premier League record going this afternoon against a Burnley side who have not lived up to the level they set themselves last season.

As is the norm, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we invite you to leave your opinion on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the game.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it happens at Turf Moor.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period after the final whistle sounds

With the kick-off looming large, we are now able to bring you the team news.

Starting with our hosts, Burnley:

Continuing with Chelsea:

Here’s hoping we’re all smiles come the end of the game.

Up the Chels!

  • No Eden so I’m hoping someone steps up to the plate this is a game that we should win and we will find out about the rest of our squad we know mr hazard can carry us with his brilliance but we can’t be a one player team I’m hoping for a great team display

  • Sarri doesn’t strike me as a manager with ambition, his substitutions look so predetermined without regard to the situation on the pitch.

  • I’m very pleased great attitude and proved we are a team turf moor is no easy place to go and win so great weekend

  • That is a top class performance by The Blues on a cold day, as without Eden the team proved they have the necessary skills and commitment to do the business. From a Burnley viewpoint, Joe Hart was man of the match.

  • Muleya1 you mean this match or previous matches?well, what would you have done in those situations u are referring to? Mr. Ambition ?

    • Well apart from obvious Giroud for Morata substitution he showed some positive substitutions in Burnley game. Else we could have expected Kovacic for Barkley kind of substitution. You will agree with me it has always been Willian for Pedro or vice versa, Barkley for Kovacic or vice versa and Giroud for Morata or vice versa.
