After a hiatus of one season, a season in which Chelsea won the Europa League with a fine win over Arsenal, Champions League football is back on the menu at Stamford Bridge this Tuesday evening.

When the draw was made in Nyon, in Switzerland, Chelsea were given an awkward looking group that also includes Ajax and Lille.

It only seems like yesterday that Chelsea supporters embraced the ultimate triumph in the Allianz Arena, in Munich, but it was, in fact, over seven years ago.

Can Frank Lampard’s youthful-looking side make an impact on the competition this season, here at Vital Chelsea, we sincerely hope so.

As is the norm, on the eve of any big fixture, we’re running our usual feature whereby we ask you to predict the starting eleven that Frank will opt for.

With Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi having featured in a U23 fixture on Friday, could they be hoping for inclusion in the squad?

Will N’Golo Kante shake off the injury that saw him miss out on the fine 5-2 victory away to Wolverhampton Wanderers, on Saturday?

Just two questions you might like to take into consideration when you try and second-guess Frank.

Simply drop your predicted starting eleven into the comment facility beneath this article and we’ll see if anyone can get it spot on.
