Match Day Moments – Europa League Final – Baku – Chelsea v Arsenal

|

On Wednesday evening, Chelsea will attempt to end the 2018 / 2019 season by winning the Europa League Final for a second time.

Standing between Maurizio Sarri’s side and another piece of silverware are Arsenal who are desperate to win the final to ensure they are playing Champions League football next season.

Chelsea have arrived in Baku with a squad depleted by injury with Antonio Rudiger, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all absent through injury and also with N’Golo Kante likely to miss the game after picking up a knee injury in training.

The loss of that quartet will be felt by the club who are probably entering this fixture as the slight underdogs.

However, with Eden Hazard, most probably, playing his last game for the club, the Chelsea support will be hoping that the Belgian international can produce one last magical display to ensure a victory is celebrated.

As is the norm, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we encourage you to offer your views on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the big game.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it happens in Baku.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period after the final whistle sounds.

Will it be another glorious night in Chelsea’s history?

Let’s all hope so.
