Match Day Moments – Europa League – MOL Vidi (A)

|

Tonight, Chelsea conclude their Europa League Group L campaign with a fixture against the Hungarian side, MOL Vidi.

With Chelsea having already qualified for the next stage of the competition, as group winners, the game tonight is nothing more than an irritation for Maurizio Sarri and his squad, who are preparing for an away fixture, with Brighton and Hove Albion, this Sunday.

However, with the group won it does give Sarri the chance to give players a run-out who do not normally feature in his normal starting eleven selections.

Indeed, it may herald an influx of youth into the side as Sarri surveys what they could bring to the squad in the future.

Despite the fixture being of very little relevance, we are running our usual Match Day Moments feature whereby we invite you to leave your opinions on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the game.

2 – The starting eleven selected for the fixture.

3– The action as it happens over in Hungary.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period following the sounding of the final whistle.

Up the Chels!
