Match Day Moments – Europa League Semi-Final – Eintracht Frankfurt (H)

|

Tonight, Chelsea have a glorious chance to reach a European Final when they welcome Eintracht Frankfurt, to Stamford Bridge, for the second leg of a semi-final.

The game is delicately balanced with the first-leg having finished 1-1, giving Chelsea a valuable away goal.

After the exploits of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, in the Champions League, English football is on a high and Maurizio Sarri will be determined to see his side enjoy similar accolades.

However, his selection will be hampered by injuries to key players this evening with N’Golo Kante, Antonio Rudiger and Callum Hudson-Odoi all side-lined.

As is the norm, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we actively encourage you to leave your thoughts, in our comment facility, on a variety of subjects including, but not limited,

1 – The build-up to the big game.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3– The action as it happens at Stamford Bridge.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period after the sounding of the final whistle.

Here’s hoping our journey to Baku is still very much alive once the game finishes tonight!
