Five games left, four points ahead, twelve more points will guarantee Chelsea the 2016 / 2017 Premier League title.
This afternoon Chelsea play the first of those games when they travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton.
Many perceive this fixture to be the toughest of our last five, but, between now and the end of the season, there`ll be no easy games.
As is the norm, we`re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we invite you to leave your thoughts, in our comments facility, on a number of topics including, but not limited to:
1 – The build-up to the big game.
2 – The starting eleven selected by Antonio Conte.
3 – The action as it happens.
4 – Your thoughts in the immediate aftermath of the final whistle.
Let`s keep those fingers crossed everyone.

If things go really badly for us today and we have just a one point lead tonight the unthinkable could happen as spuds play before us next week… π
Hoping the arse can do us a favour but nervous about our game today.
KOYB

@dickturpin. as long as we get champions league it is a success after last year. Title would be nice but it is not essential, however, CL is π
@unclezillion……no, but it would be a huge disappointment given where we have been this season.
@unclezillion, Roman don’t take such humiliation lightly.. For our club’s sake, for Conte’s sake o earnestly hope we win the title…we’ve been number 1 on the table for more than 6months..
Unc, at the start of the season CL was the target, so it would be a great recovery from last season no doubt, but i must agree with Dick, to not win after being 10 pts ahead with a few matches to go would be a huge huge dissapointment.
Today could be a defining day in our season, one way or another
predicting a handicap win for *THE*BLUES*…not nervy at all

Tough as today’s match will be, I see Chelsea getting all 3points against Everton.
I’m nervous looking to what’s at stake
Having played so well through the season I can’t imagine us blowing up the title, no, not today.
who shines; the man with an unfinished business @Chelsea: LUKAKU or the unwanted hero with a villain tag: COSTA
…#BLUES’BATTLE#…
Early scare Lukaku could ‘ve put them 1-Nil up less than two minutes. Not what we need at this moment.
left off the hook!! Brilliant defending from Cahill

Hazarddddddddd! side netted good work Costa.
Twenty minutes gone, Everton playing exactly like ManU Idrissa Gueye man marking Hazard. We got to find a way……good solo effort Matic.
Need Fabregas on, passing is poor today.
I don’t know why we’ve switched back to 3-4-3, I think we should continue with 3-5-2 for the rest of the season, or at least until we win the league.
This game is begging for creativity of Fabregas as they aren’t out to play but a negative tactics to nullify our creative players such as Hazard, get a scrappy goal & close shop. A typical Mourinho script, so disappointed by Koeman a former BarΓ§a man. Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeew!
