Match Day Moments – FA Cup – Chelsea v Manchester United

|

Tonight, Chelsea continue their defence of the FA Cup they won, last May, with a fifth-round tie against the very club they won the trophy against last May, Manchester United.

It is, without doubt, the tie of the round with two clubs who have a wonderful record in this competition going head-to-head.

Chelsea enter the fixture on the back of a run of mixed form, a bad defeat away to Manchester City was followed by a narrow win against Malmo, in the Europa League.

Manchester United, on the other hand, enter the fixture after suffering their first defeat since Ole Gunnar Solksjaer took over the managerial hot-seat, from our former boss, Jose Mourinho, when they were outclassed by Paris Saint-Germain, in a Champions League tie at Old Trafford.

As usual, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we invite you to offer your views on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to what is the tie of the round.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it happens at Stamford Bridge.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period after the final whistle sounds.

Will we be celebrating Chelsea securing a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals?
