After the disappointment of the 0-0 draw against a resilient Arsenal time on Sunday, Chelsea welcome the Championship side, Nottingham Forest, to Stamford Bridge, this evening.

The occasion being a 3rd round tie in the League Cup.

With a tricky trip to Stoke City, this Saturday, it`ll be interesting to see who makes Antonio Conte`s starting eleven.

Is Wednesday night the ideal opportunity to give Eden Hazard his first start for Chelsea this season?

Will Conte be wary of making too many changes in case his side suffer an embarrassing exit at the hands of a club from a lower league?

As is the norm, we`ll be running our usual Match Day Moments feature whereby we ask you to leave your views on a variety of topic including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the fixture.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Antonio Conte.

3 – The action as it happens down at Stamford Bridge.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period between the final whistle sounding and the match report being published.

Here`s hoping that come the final whistle it is our name that is in the draw for the 4th round!

  • Chelsea XI: Caballero; Clarke-Salter, Christensen, Cahill; Moses, Bakayoko, Fabregas, Kenedy; Musonda, Batshuayi, Hazard

  • Here’s the confirmed line up against Forest. Caballero, Christensen, Rudiger, Cahill(c), Fabregas, Bakayoko, Kenedy, Musonda, Batshuayi, Hazard.
Subs: Eduardo, Moses, Clarke-Salter, Ampadu, Willian Scott.

  • What a start! Kenedy on target for the 1st goal, truly deserved his place in the squad. Good effort Rudi man!

  • Halftime Chelsea 3:0 Nottingham Forest. What a player that Musonda Jr, so far even outshine Hazard with skills & effort off the ball.

  • The scoreline should have been 4-Nil had Zappacosta’s goal not ruled offside. A debut goal for Musonda and a fine goal as well, he looks quite happy with that as well. Kennedy with an opening goal putting behind him the Chinese text stuff. Everywhere is blue…..so happy for our young players showing to Conte what they are capable of doing if given a chance. KTBFFH!

  • Goal.com: UNSELFISH BRILLIANCE FROM HAZARD TO SET UP BATSHUAYI! Another incredible ball over the top from Fabregas to Hazard lands right on the Belgians foot in the Forest penalty area. Hazard then danced away from two defenders and left the goalkeeper stranded before centring the ball to Batshuayi who only had to get a tap on it. 4-0 Blues!

  • Ampadu on Fabregas off…..David Luiz should be careful over few years as this lad is set to challenge him if not on pitch but with hairstyles!

  • Goal.com: Chelsea, even with a four goal advantage are pushing ever-forward and looking thoroughly unsatisfied with a mere 4-0 victory. Chelsea’s domination of the scoreline is evident on the stats sheet, with the Blues having more possession, corners and shots taken. They have been superior in every aspect today….Pheeeeww!

  • Substitution Andreas Christensen off Jake Clarke-Salter on. Am not happy with that decision, why not Cahill so that AC plays a full 90mins. Chelsea has reduced this game to a walking pace at times. Their patient and controlled build-up must be extremely frustrating for Forest who cannot get a touch of the ball.

  • Very impressive from Conte as all three substitutes are teenagers: Ethan Ampadu, Clarke-Salter & in 76mins Dujon Sterling on for Zappacosta. I hope Conte keeps the believe and give these talented boys the chances they deserve. KTBFFH!!!

  • You can see how much Musonda enjoyed his goal… I wish we can have more academy players who are good enough to play for the senior team as they tend to play with all their soul…. They truly love to play for the club..
