Chelsea welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge this afternoon for a Premier League clash.
For Chelsea, it is an opportunity to put some pressure on fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, with regards to qualifying for the Champions League next season.
Tottenham Hotspur, surprisingly, lost away to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday. Chelsea know a win today coupled with a win at home to Huddersfield on Wednesday evening, will see them climb above Tottenham Hotspur, although the North London club would have a game in hand.
Home games against Liverpool are always entertaining affairs, who’ll ever forget the end-of-season game, back in May 2003, when a goal from Jesper Gronkjaer saw Chelsea pip Liverpool to Champions League football amidst fantastic scenes.
