Stamford Bridge will be full to capacity this afternoon when Chelsea take on Liverpool in a Premier League fixture.

Liverpool arrive in SW6 leading the Premier League table with a 100% record from their opening six games, whereas Chelsea are not far behind having dropped just two points, courtesy of a draw away to West Ham United, last Sunday.

Chelsea may have beaten Liverpool, at Anfield, in the Carabao Cup in midweek but that result will have little bearing on the outcome of the fixture this afternoon.

As is the norm, on match days, we’re running our regular feature whereby we invite you to leave your thoughts on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the big game.

2– The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it happens down at Stamford Bridge.

4 – Your thoughts after the final whistle has blown.

Can Chelsea become the first team to take points off Liverpool in the Premier League this season?

We’re about to find out.

Up the Chels!

  • Could have been 2 up if Willian had put away a great pass from Luiz (or passed to Giroud) …. but the Pool keeper was great

  • 1-1 it ends ….. just minutes away from 3 points …. Kepa might have jumped earlier & higher , nevertheless that strike was inch perfect …. a great learning for Kepa that you can never relax in the EPL ….

  • Never was Kepa’s fault for Danny’s goal. Our players just switched off before that goal. Kante should not have allowed Sturridge to take the shot.

  • True, Kante should have done better. Those 2 saves of Becker of Hazard & Willian and that super strike were what saved Pool the point …. but it was a fair result in the end i feel …. our defence needs to get better

  • High quality game from both sides… two clear one on one missed by Willian @Hazard … if more additional time we were looked likely to score .. Barkly gave the ball away so easily … but overall today Chelsea shows they are truely title contender

  • I think overall we have played well against Liverpool on two occasions Sarri has got us looking a very good side probably won’t win the tittle but top four is more than possible very optimistic about rest of season
