Match Day Moments – Premier League – Arsenal (A)

|

This afternoon, in the late Saturday kick-off, Maurizio Sarri takes his squad the short distance, to the Emirates Stadium, to play Arsenal.

The game, at the time of writing, pitches the club in fourth place in the Premier League against the club in fifth place.

Maurizio Sarri will be perfectly aware that a win this afternoon will produce a significant gap between his side and that of Unai Emery, as both clubs seek a top-four finish to ensure they participate in the Champions League next season.

Arsenal, who put together a long unbeaten run under their new boss have suffered a downturn in form recently and allied with injury problems in their defence, could be there for the taking.

However, Chelsea need to be aware that going forward, Arsenal are a potent attacking force.

All-in-all, it looks as if we’re set for an entertaining fixture, which could go either way.

As is the norm, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we actively encourage you to participate by leaving your views, in our comment facility, on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the big game.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it happens at the Emirates Stadium.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period after the final whistle has sounded to end the contest.

Up the Chels!
