With the UK in the grip if an icy blast, weather-wise, Chelsea face a difficult fixture this evening when they take on Bournemouth, in a Premier League fixture, at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth, a lovely seaside resort in the summer, can be an unforgiving place at this time of the year and it’ll be interesting to see what attire both sides choose to wear to keep out the biting cold.

After two wins in the space of four days in cup competitions, Chelsea will be looking to keep that winning feeling prevalent as they take on an Eddie Howe side that is capable, on their day, of mixing with the best.

With a home fixture, against Huddersfield, to follow this game, six points out of six would stand Chelsea in good stead as they go looking to enhance their chances of claiming, at least, a top-four finish.

As usual, we’re running our regular Match Day Moments feature whereby we encourage you to air your views, in our comments facility, on a variety of subjects including but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the fixture

2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.

3 – The action as it happens at the Vitality Stadium.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period following the sounding of the final whistle.

Here’s hoping we’re all smiles and celebrating another victory.

  • Herefordchelsea…this guys are humans not robots…this is what exactly happened last season…when chelsea was involved in two legged semifinal caraboa cup…bournemouth at the bridge…bournemouth are having 10 days rest while chelsea has played twice in that period …pls listen to what guardiola said yesterday concerning the fatigue…..

  • Wizzy zube to loose 4-0 that’s no excuse some of the team weren’t playing Sunday so what’s their excuse this was a great opportunity to maintain our top four place but now level with Arsenal and only 2 points clear of Utd we’re making hard work of this season

  • Our striking force, Wllian, 30, Pedro, above 30, Giroud above 30, Higuain above 30. I don’t know if we are building a team for the future.
